After the party - # 08/289

The party-animal needs plenty of stamina at this time of year; and not the least of those qualities is having strong eardrums that withstand the lively cacophony of chatter and a good larynx to ensure that your voice is heard above all. (I'm still hoarse, and mildly deaf, but it was a nice evening).

Camera: Olympus C7070 wz, the strap pulled tight against my rigid kneck and being held very still for longer than I care to remember: naturally, no flash.

  1. Glad to see you had a coffee or tea chaser for that wine! Nice color. Not quite BW not quite sepia. Interesting. BTW, our friend Peter is guest blogging on my Paris blog tomorrow. He wouldn't let me tamper with changing his photos to BW! I was tempted a little, but they really were perfect in color!!

  2. Nice feel about this. Tell me, are you like me? Wine goes in the big glass, water in the small one. Restaurants always seem to get this wrong!

  3. Hi Richard! With a 48h day I would have time to enjoy your blog more often; shame on the time controller… ;))
The molten chocolate is superb! And the desaturation is outstanding!! Bentall makes great shotas, but I don't think I would spend much time and money there. Unless they have an Oyster Bar... ;))
Last, it seems you're having great parties... ;))
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is departing Tunisia 2007, but managed to keep the delay in posting on twelve (12) months only. Great achievement… ;)) Enjoy and have a great weekend!

  4. Great shot! Because of the economic downturn in NYC (and US, for that matter), our office party budget was severely cut. So no aloo gobi and chicken tikka masala this year, just desserts. :-(
