Muscat Moments 10 - # 6/2011


I don't want to bore you with too much "architecture", but I want to show some more colonade studies, and dwell on the pleasing form of the Arabic arch. Here's another very attractive use of the technique at a mosque near where I'm staying.


People shots will be coming again, but mosques and landscapes and townscapes must have their outings as well.

    Que ce soit en architecture ou en confection de vêtements, les problèmes et les solutions sont les mêmes : comment faire les petits raccords et finitions. Comment ménager l'intimité tout en permettant la vue et l'aération. J'aime beaucoup ces volumes simples, qui doivent beaucoup à la construction en pisée des villages fortifiés.

    Tu as de la chance d’être accueilli dans ta famille et de voir Oman différemment d’un touriste.
    Si je me souviens bien, c’était ton anniversaire il y a peu. Il y a une expression très pratique en anglais qui n’existe pas en français : Happy Belated Anniversary !
