Richmond upon Thames: the view from London's "Arcadia" along the River Thames in Southwest London.
These flowers grow around the blackberry bushes. The intensity of colour is very pleasing.
I have them here too. I like them for the opening at the base between the petals. Most flowers close that space in normal growth display but not this one.
The blossoms are so perfect they almost look like a painting. Lush, beautiful colours, too.
I really like these flowers, but I especially like the blackberries, as they are, but possibly with a little bit of sugar and whipped cream!
Peter! great to see you back! The blackberries are so sweet at the moment that almost no sugar is needed, and although I normally agree on the cream, that's almost not necessary either!
