What you get when you go to Menton - # 09/63

I've been moving about and having a rest from featuring Richmond (naughty, but sometimes one needs a change of scene and the opportunity to experiment).

This week end I enjoyed the excellent hospitality of Jilly from Menton http://menton-daily-photo.blogspot.com/ , Richard from Zurich http://blog.richardtugwell.com/index.cfm , Nathalie from Avignon http://avignon-in-photos.blogspot.com/ and Peter from Paris http://peter-pho2.blogspot.com/ .

Lemon trees line the streets of Menton. This lemon was picked in a Menton garden on Saturday.

  2. Ahem... you don't mean to say that you have illegally imported farm produce into the UK?

    (Tried frying it yet?)

  3. What a fabulous image, Chuckeroon. Think we should show it to the Menton tourist office!

It was such a treat to finally meet you in Menton and I do hope you will come back again soon.

  5. Ahh you took a different approach. Very , very nice shot ! I must ask you though, did any of the gang have to say, "Put it away now dear" ?????? :)
I also want to know if you can shoot with both of those cameras at the same time? I'd bet some money in a casino that you've probably tried it!

  6. AH ! Tu as ramené un citron !

  7. @Cergie........merci, et bien sur, the Lemon Cake will materialise.

@Virginia......the others were too engrossed in their own affairs to notice me, except Peter who spent most of his time observing us. And...no I haven't. I constantly seem to forget which one I'm actually using and "the shot" escapes.

@Freefalling......yep! Be jealous. It was a great trip because of the company.

@Mary de B.......it is indeed the finest looking lemon I have ever seen. It will be properly used.

  10. HA!!! I can see it all now. I have enough trouble getting my settings etc. ready, I'd never be able to pull off two. Is your smaller one a point and shoot??
