Richmond upon Thames: the view from London's "Arcadia" along the River Thames in Southwest London.
Crown Imperials flanking the steps up to the main door at Ham House.
Richmond upon Thames,
An amazed Abraham Lincoln looked at the photograph and was shocked that these three things were flowers and not a cluster of lights stuck in the flowers. The portal picture is always too small for my old eyes. LOL Have a nice weekend.
These are quite spectacular! They look tropical to me...yet, I've never seen them before! I wonder how long they flower...
they look regal - perfect!thank you for stopping by, would love to have you over often.
Wow! Never seen a flower like this before. Look sort of lilyish.
They're supposed to keep moles at bay, but I'm not sure of their efficacy. They didn't come back in our garden, at least (Not that we had any in the first place..)
So that's what they're called. I've seen them in Brugg near us and marvelled at their strangeness (to me).
