A walk in Richmond Park 2 - # 67

Moving away from the quiet pool we can either go north along the bottom of this ridge, or up it onto the plateau of the park. Walk north (straight ahead in this picture) and you will come eventually to the Dysart Arms (Post # 48), contimue along the foot path across Petersham Meadow (Post # 1) and then continue along the river bank into the town seeing Post # 17 as you go......that's about 2 miles of park, meadow and river.

  2. Hey 'roon!

Hope all is very good with you. Sorry I've not left a comment for a while - have been checking the shots though - looking better abd better!

This is a really cool shot - is the perspective altered, it feels wide angle?

    Very nice though!

    All the best,

    Bluey!

  3. Amazing to me that on your visit to my blog this morning, you mentioned "thrushes" and we moved into this new home in December 1962. There was nothing here. Now, after 44 years of building the land back up and trying to make it suitable for wildlife and that includes things like soil bacteria, and worms, etc. Anyway, I pay attention to what comes here and goes. And just last week, for the first time in my life, I saw a nice big Wood Thrush. My heart raced like I was stalking a deer. I grabbed my camera and it was gone. I did notice it was rooting through the oak leaves on the ground before it left.

    Thanks for your visit.

  4. I got so wound up talking about your comment on my blog that I forgot to tell you about the photo you have today. I think it is excellent. And the clouds add a lot of perspective to the composition.
