A brief glimpse of figures caught at Ham House. Time passes but the essence remains.

  1. I cannot quite figure out why my comments do not show up on your blog; here's trying again!

  2. I think that the tiles give an entirely different "feel" to your photo because their contemporary look and geometric "hard" lines are so different from the other forms and lines in the scene. The black and white shades are marvelous.

  3. Just beautiful. Love the expanse of the B/W tile in the forground and the glimpse of the person walking away. The light is exceptional. Good one C.

  5. Superb. You caught the 'ghost' at the perfect moment. I love your Ham House shots - we are transported back to the past and the wonders of this beautiful building. Those paintings are 'enormous' in relation to the size of the room.

  6. The almost ghostly figure really captures the times past in the present. Don't say it often enough, love your photography, especailly your jaunt to France. That are really suited your eye.
