Richmond upon Thames: the view from London's "Arcadia" along the River Thames in Southwest London.
The archivist is setting up to make a digital photo record. His assistant is at the computer cataloguing as he goes along.
I was captivated by the way the light reflected from the wooden floor and by the contrasting slabs of light and shade, so I felt bound to capture the vision.

ReplyDeletemmm ... very satisfying. For me, I think that does come from the warmth of the floors - and the fact that they are wood - love wood. The other striking element is the umbrella shape. Is this some sort of light reflector.
