Richmond upon Thames: the view from London's "Arcadia" along the River Thames in Southwest London.
Just what you don't want to see on a cold winter night.
(P.S. Sorry for the lack of images and comment at the moment. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible).

I can't tell if it's the front or back of a bus but I'll take your word for it. Do like the effect. Get me a taxi!
ReplyDeleteThat sent chills down the spine. Not something you want to see on an island country road with unfriendly locals and no night taxi service - the back of the bus. Shudder! The scene has deifinitely conjoured up a powerful personal image for me, and that's what photography is all about.
ReplyDelete"As soon as possible", je t'entends le dire !
Nice photo - nice composition - like a cocoon. Although the cocoon has left without you. Now in Switzerland people would be amazed that this situation could happen - don't you have a watch?
ReplyDeleteWell-done night shot! I love how everything lends to the idea of being left behind. The lights are bright, but leading down the road where the warm bus is...and it, too, is bright and cheerful.
