Richmond upon Thames: the view from London's "Arcadia" along the River Thames in Southwest London.
Walking through the Water Garden in the Isabella Plantation , Richmond Park I enjoyed the way the sunlight shone through the lush, green ferns. B&W makes it look like a huge, mysterious jungle.

An amazing photo! I love the black and white!
ReplyDeleteI like this b&w. An excellent light-effect.
ReplyDeleteOh this works perfectly in B&W - I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteA primeval forest, indeed! The b&w emphasizes every frond and accentuates the light and shadow. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI agree, the b&w makes it mysterious. This means of course that you are somehow cheating us! The colours would give the nice and gentle impression!
ReplyDeleteIt's an unusual choice to go with b&w for an image that would normally make the most of the greens. Youv'e made an excellent job of this. Quite a striking image with the sun streaming though.
