The march of life - # 234

The busy pavement scene in Southall. I chose black and white because I wanted to focus on the busy walking. The vibrant colour I mentioned ealier is still there. It's anything but drab!

  1. It's really 100% India, maybe just missing the colours (sorry)?

  3. Nice photo. I like it is bandw too.

I just began a new site about Japan in the early 1950s when we were there. You can get to it from my Brookville daily photo blog. Times have changed a lot there too over the 50-plus years since we were there.

  6. I think I'm missing the colors a little bit in this photo! The scene reminds me of Little India in Jackson Heights in Queens, NY.

I've been reading about the new revised numbers for the Australian wheat output and the growing demand for cereals in general for animal feed driven by an increase in the consumption of meat. We need to adopt more vegetable-based meals such as one probably likely to get in Southall, eh?
