Oh I love this sad boat. The boat that died. Great photo, Chuckeroon. What was the photo like of the whole of the boat?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I stay away from the Tyne at low tide, scared of what I might find!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your recent comments

Makes me sad to look at this photo!

That's a very atmospheric photo. The boat is still dignified, despite having seen better days.
ReplyDeleteThis photo has real character. Love the boat!!
ReplyDeleteWasteful, wasteful, wasteful.
ReplyDeleteBreaks my heart.
Why do we discard these things?
Can you tow it over here - I'll give it a home.
It must have been red, white and blue at one time. Maybe a Yank owned it. Sure is disrepair at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favourite so far of the flotsam and jetsam series. However I see it in purely artistic terms. Am I cold hearted? I like the diagonal cascade effect, and the uncluttered background. NB is this not a hazard? Thanks for the ZDP plug. (I still have all my cameras - but I don't think you should hang on to them if you aren't going to use them)
