Fast relief for the world's fastest moving - # 198
Here it is! The lovingly restored original "gent's" in the Members Only club house at Brooklands. The most illustrious and fastest moving names in the worlds of motorsport and aviation stood here between 1907 and 1939, and thereafter geniuses of aeronautical science such as Barnes Wallis. Stand here and you know for certain that you are in the presence of Great Men.
I guess you are great. I would not qualify. At my age there is little about me that could be modestly described as "great."

"Lovingly restored"? 'Nuf said.ReplyDelete
A nice retro brown colour...this has me thinking about all the urinals and toilets around the world and whether there is indeed an optimal design (ie in terms of function).ReplyDelete
Didn't you get in trouble prowling round the gents with a camera?ReplyDelete
Nothing about the loo (that's an interesting word right there), but about loots. If you haven't already, you might be interested in checking out The Economist on the returning of treasures.ReplyDelete
So glad you showed me - otherwise I would never have the opportunity to see it. Not unless I donned moustache, coat and hat!!!ReplyDelete
hmm well you'd have to lovingly do that sort of job wouldn't you. I applaud whoever did it. They look spotless.ReplyDelete
*lol* I was right guessing what it was before reading. Great that they renovate those old ones.ReplyDelete
